Originally from Cap-Haitien, Haiti, October’s Driver of the Month is Baptiste Myrtil. This father of two daughters, Karina and Mariah has been driving for Yellow Cab of Broward for seventeen years! Cap-Haitien is a port city on the northern coast of Haiti known for its sprawling beaches, French Colonial Architecture, and has a population of approximately 274,500. Baptiste shared that driving is his passion but connection with clients is his love. Over the years, he has amassed many, many personal clients that call on him like family. Whether it is to transport his customer base to various doctor’s appointments, local & social events, or simply a short ride to visit friends Baptiste has a vast number of people who have him on speed dial. When Baptiste isn’t driving, he is caring for his “spiritual” side by reading the Bible. He is grateful for the warm weather of Florida as playing football is his way of keeping his body healthy.
