Our driver behind the wheel this month is Mr. Gary Dorcelus, Taxi 248, who has been an instrumental part of the Yellow Cab Team since 1998.
While usually, West Broward residents see Gary’s stylish, late model Toyota Avalon Taxi working around the Sawgrass Mills area, lately Gary has been bringing his excellent customer service skills to residents and visitors throughout Broward County.
Gary is not only a very knowledgeable taxicab driver on the streets, he has moonlighted in the office where he works as a Customer Service Representative who solves both drivers’ and passengers’ issues.
Recognizing Gary as an ambassador for excellent service, he recently appeared the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau customer service video, where he showed on film just how he excels at customer service.
Recently Gary joined Yellow Cab’s marketing team and visited Publix Supermarket’s throughout Broward promoting the Caribbean Village Festival event. Gary could be seen passing out Yellow Cab totes and explained Yellow Cab’s upfront pricing to the crowds.
When Gary gets a chance to wind down, he enjoys reading, watching documentaries about history while relaxing listening to the oldies.
